After days of going through the possible web development tool candidates I stumbled upon a company called EllisLab, I had never heard of this company and it surprised me. They have 2 products which immediately attracted my attention:
I got to this page through the site of a Flemisch designer, Veerle, of whom I haven't heard either. See, life can be so full of surprises.
I simply do not get the idea of "nodes". It is probably very simple but for me it doesn't make any sense. Then there are pages, books, stories... I think Drupal is a very good tool for many, but not for me. It was very easy to install though and interesting to study.
Excellent tool but too limited for me. I started to notice I lost interest to keep my site up to date and then I should really sit down and think what is the bottleneck. So I did. But, it is a good piece of software for a modest and not too complex site.
