My career started in the field of design. Soon it became such a diverse package of projects I got at hand I do not dare to call myself graphic designer or product designer or design manager or consultant. I did it all.
Since 1995 involved in consulting on Internet and communication services in Finland. Since a few weeks I have started up a new project. This will keep me busy for the coming months and hopefully years. I love to develop products and services which add something useful to a person's life. This can be a moment of enjoyment or something of utilitarian use. With my photos I hope people "like" them and enjoy them. With my latest Internet project I hope and expect people to use it to make some things in their life easier and more fun to accomplish... I am talking in riddles still but no news until we have a beta version up and running.
This page will give you an overview of the things I have done in my life. Some I am proud of and others less proud or not at all. I list most of them but there are a few I cannot write about due to the NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) I had to sign. What I am proud of is my sense of understanding what goes on in society and extrapolate upon this notion. I like to connect the dots, the small elements which make up something larger in the future. To be honest, I am pretty good at that. What I often have lacked is the ability both mentally and in terms of skill and network to execute what I was sure of will happen next. Since a few weeks I have started to learn to program, this is a skill I lacked seriously the past 12 years. So I am working on my shortcoming, albeit delayed and slow. Now soon I can both imagine the future, design the product and service, make it work well and do it. Yes!
