New photos, new edits, and watermarked. That is the result of yesterday and today. I expect 1 photo to come still but here is the series so far.

For those who know me, I love to cook. So now also the ones who do not know me know this. A lot to know don't you think? Anyway, I was chopping some mushrooms for the stew which I was about to prepare for tonight's diner and I came across a twin-mushroom. Never seen this before so I had to take a photo.

This is what I wait for, the aging process. As I want to get the same light conditions as with the previous photo I wait till it was dark outside and the 2 lamps I use are the only light source.

How Long Has This Been Going On is updated. Most of the images here need color correction as they'll too dark on a Windows based computer. HLHTBGO is the second after the Ice Roses to have gotten the colour correction.

A preview on the 2007 Christmas cards, if Leena has not forgotten to send them to the online print service. Hmmm, better check this a.s.a.p. Anyway, photos of frozen rozes. The DOF (Depth Of Field) is very shallow so there are only a few crystals, ehh, crystal sharp?

The photos I have at smugmug.com are slowly moved to this site. Here is the series I like a lot myself. Perhaps you find the tones are too dark but the white background on this site doesn't help much for that either. I will try to correct the white background, one day (some day) but the tones probably remain what they are now.

Although I suggested earlier this morning to stop adding photos for today something made me change my mind.

Maybe you have this as well, but when your some elements in life are well organized you start to use them, better or often.

For example. In the web editor I use, Sandvox, there is a thing called a "Media Browser". Nothing spectacular actually. But one of the limitations and reasons to not use this before is the unchangeable path to certain directories on my Powerbook. These are "Photos", "Audio", "Movies" and "Links".

But all my photos went to another directory or folder on my hard-drive. This morning I changed that and from now onwards they are located in "Photos" which makes "drag & drop" much easier.

Yesterday I wrote to my Chilean/Swedish friend Edison how I have a backlog of more than 100 photos waiting to be uploaded. But instead of leaving it with finding excuses I decided to take action! Yes, I uploaded 3 photos, incredible, what an achievement...

17.09.2007 Is the date I took this photo. I got still a few of these in the garden but the seeds have left the pod by now. Of course, this year's Iris pods I talk about. Although, although there might be 1 or 2 last year's still standing somewhere. These plants are remarkably strong actually.

Rose Bud

This photo is picked up from the garden by either Julie or Jasper, can't remember exactly. As I like them to experience beauty I gave them the assignment to walk through the garden and come back with leaves, flowers, buds or whatever plant related that they find interesting.

This rose bud reminded one of them of fingers, a hand or a crown or hat. I like to hear the stories, the first thought when an object catches their eyes. Often these are human related like head, fingers, arm.

Of course in the end it is about a beautiful photo and everybody is allowed to make her or his own associations. I even allow "it's just a dried out rose bud"...
